1. Yesterday morning C dumped his entire cup of milk on himself/the crib. It was awesome only in that his sheet needed washing anyway. Mischief!
2. Today he epic face planted outside. It was the first real blood of my parenting experience. I have enough camp counselor experience to not be concerned about it. (Remind me to tell you about Colin and the head injury sometime unless you're squeamish.) But I still feel horrible. His nose is all scrapped up and his forehead too. Poor guy.
3. It's August which is my most favorite month of the entire year. I am pretty darn excited. There's nothing better than August.
4. My dad got C a goal/pitch back with a soccer ball and hockey sticks and while we haven't ventured into hockey just yet I imagine it will be quite popular based on how excited he gets about putting the ball into the goal. And he doesn't even really kick yet. We're working on it.

6. Do you ever just look around and realize how lucky you are? I do this daily. Not consciously but I am struck often by how great I have it. Life is pretty great.

I must comment on #2 and #6. I am scared to death of the day M face plants outside, he is still getting the hang of the "walking thing" and now with his love of of running..I am just waiting for the day! hhahahah- and I am a nurse and I am sure I will act like he needs a trip to the ER! I am glad he is ok.
