two. I bought some LuLaRoe leggings just to see what all the fuss is about. I am sure you've at least heard of them. If not...they're the leggings social media goes on and on about. I was especially curious what "buttery soft" meant. Because I don't think I've ever described anything at all to be buttery soft and that's apparently the LuLaRoe tagline and pretty much everyone says it. What it means is, they're soft. Almost fuzzy, but not. You will probably like to pet your legs. I still don't know that "buttery" is the phrase I'd use but whatevs.
It's too hot to actually wear leggings right now but I do have my heart set on finding a top or a Nicole dress that isn't ugly. Some of the patterns are...intense. But they may be your style. Allison is a new LuLaRoe consultant and Bonnie's consultant has a coupon for Bonnie's readers so... choices abound. I even dusted off my Facebook because apparently that's how people buy LuLaRoe when you don't just have a party in your living room.
three. So I am a totally Harry Potter fan. And now you can discover your Patronus. The quiz tells me that my Patronus is a manx cat. Which is kind of whatever. I have very neutral feelings about that. But really, I saw this on Instagram and... it is actually my spirit animal.
Husband says as far as brand loyalty goes, I am all in for Amazon. He's right. I love them. The end.
four. In case you're wondering, I am a Slytherin. Which I wish surprised me but...it doesn't. I think I am Slytherin who wishes to be Ravenclaw. I would be constantly annoyed by some of the stupidity of Slytherins but that doesn't mean I don't belong there. They can't all be morons like Crabbe and Goyle. My wand is 10 3/4 inch Laurel Wood with a Unicorn Hair core.
five. In preschool news, C got to be the Good Apple yesterday. Which means he got to sit in the Froggy Chair instead of criss-cross-applesauce on the carpet and be the line leader. It was very exciting for him and he, of course, celebrated at home by having an apple.
six. In M news, she is constantly cracking me up! I think she is prepared to be a sports fan because with no prompting or example that I am aware of she has now started chanting what she wants. "Mickey! Mickey! Mickey! Mickey!" "Strawbee! Strawbee! Strawbee! Strawbee!"
She has this new thing where she will not go into her crib without her "jammies." (C gets VERY annoyed if you refer to his sleep clothes as anything other than pajamas, so I don't even know where she learned that word.) So before rest time, she has to put on her jammies. Then get redressed after her nap. And of course she mostly has to do it "by self."
seven. It was super rainy here this morning which is unfortunate because it is the Hot Air Balloon Festival. I have no idea if it will still go on. I know that if there's a storm within 100 miles they can't fly. But sitting in the mud doesn't sound appealing either. We shall see.
bonus take: We are praying for a minor miracle. My family has until Monday to find some important legal paperwork and it is a needle in a haystack situation. If you have any prayers to spare we would appreciated it!
Have a stellar weekend!
Ooohhhh...I love a good balloon festival but it's been ages since we went to one! Praying that you find your paperwork.
ReplyDeletePraying to St. Anthony for you!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could say that I was as big a Harry Potter fan as you are. It never "took" with me (but then again, I never read more than a few chapters of the first book). My boys, on the other hand were (are) HUGE fans. I think it disappoints them that I don't share their enthusiasm.
(For the record: my second oldest son's wife gave him a Harry Potter-themed 31st birthday party last year...)
Dual oven = life.
ReplyDeleteAnd St Anthony.... please look around! Something's lost that must be found!
Hahaha I totally feel the same about cooking two different things that require two different temperatures in the oven. Why not have things be the same?? And thanks for the mention! I kind of hate the term buttery... I don't think I'll ever use it :/ I mean, who runs their hands through butter? I've always been a print person so I love some of them... others yeah, are out there!
ReplyDeleteI keep hearing things about LulaRoe, but trying to avoid spending money... Hope you found that legal paperwork!
