It has been raining a lot lately. Just absolute dreary gross humid rain. Not a cool cozy fall rain either. It's almost been hot. (For November... upper 60s feels warm.)
After M's piano lesson yesterday a rainbow came out.

And in all the turmoil of last night, my friend, my coworker called me to let me know she had found her mom passed away.
Life is too too short. Hug your people. Tell them you love them. These are the things that really matter.
Oh wow, we lost my mother-in-law in November a few years ago. It's hard timing. I agree with your sentiments. We've been having a lot of rain for a few days after several weeks of drought. When the furnace repairman was here today, we found out our sump pump wasn't working! Perfect timing! We can get it replaced without more damage to the house.
