Rocking the High-Top Tables

Over the weekend, we had a few opportunities to rock some high-top tables.

Friday night, we went to hear our friend's band play on a rooftop overlooking the river.

Did I take pictures to document the river? No. That's hilarious.

Did I take some truly unremarkable pictures of my children? Yes. Yes I did.

M was hilarious because she said being on the rooftop was basically like a cruise. "There's water, wind, snacks, drinks and music!"

To be fair, with the cooler summer weather, it was nearly chilly and it was a fun time. I still think a cruise is better though.

Then on Saturday, I woke up to an email that the matinee show I was supposed to go to was cancelled. I called the box office and they were so kind and accommodating and gave us the last 4 seats in the house for the evening performance.

And we got upgraded to the "VIP Tables" which, as it happens, I rather quite enjoyed.

And this production of Frozen: The Broadway Musical? Well, we liked it. But to be clear, and what I said in my review...

Let it be known: my family and I are exactly the intended audience for Timber Lake Playhouse’s current production of Frozen: The Broadway Musical. We love the material. We love theatre. So, in the words of everyone’s favorite Disney snowman Olaf, “Put ‘em together, it just makes sense.”

And we had a great weekend at our high-top tables. How nice to spend time together!
